Even the most skilled dentist alive cannot build a successful practice on skill alone. Communication is so important to patients. If you can’t communicate, your patients may not trust you or believe in your dental abilities.
It’s important to listen to your patients and make eye contact with them. You may be busy or have other things on your mind, but it’s imperative that your patient knows that you’re listening to them and taking their questions and concerns seriously. Otherwise you may seem cold or uncaring and this may lead to you losing your patients.
When talking to your patients, either in person or on the phone, eliminate any distractions and give the speaker your undivided attention. Keep in mind that the patient is paying hard earned money for your services and they expect that you will pay attention and address their concerns.
If you feel that you or your team need better phone or communication skills, please contact CTC National to speak to a skilled dental consultant!
