Basic Office Organization Tips For Every Dental Practice

A+ A- A Main Content

OverwhelmedThe correct kind of organization of your dental practice needs to involve making sure that you and your dental staff are properly trained on how to effectively and efficiently process the following information:

  • New Patient Information
  • Recurring Patient Information
  • Emergency Patient Information

If you don’t think you have a very well-organized dental practice, you may be in need of a reorganization! Once you’ve been able to find the weaker links in your staff’s training, you can strengthen them together through continued education and more extensive training. A few common weak links include the following:

  • New Patient Phone Calls
  • Processing New Patients
  • Scheduling
  • Financial Arrangements
  • Patient Retention

There may also be a few important functions that aren’t being done such as quality control of employees or effective morning huddles with your dental staff. Make sure you’re assigning specific jobs to specific staff members to avoid conflict and create accountability in your office.

As dental consultants here at CTC National, we are able to help you with all of the above, increasing your practice’s success and easing your stress. For more information on how we can help with dental front office training & practice consultation, please give us a call today!
