It’s important for you and your staff to be on the same page if you want to meet the goals you’ve set for your practice and ensure your patients will return.
The most important part of making sure you and your staff are working towards the same goal is by setting and maintaining expectations. Each member of your staff needs to know what is expected of them and how they can best perform their job. However, along with the specific job they’re meant to do, you should all be working towards the same end- patient care. Let each staff member know how they can best ensure quality patient care. Going right along with that, it’s important that your staff can measure their progress and performance. People tend to be more motivated when they can view their progress and see that they’re accomplishing goals.
Communication is another vital part of improving your staff’s performance. Make yourself approachable so your staff can come to you with questions or concerns and make sure to provide feedback so your workers know if they need to improve in any aspects.
People need praise and stability! If your staff is happy, your patients will be able to feel it!
